Georgia O'keefe
Georgia is considered by many to be one of the greatest artists of the twentieth century. These were her old stomping grounds, and she painted the towering ponderosa up the road at the DH Lawrence Ranch.
Georgia O’Keefe’s Cabin is a furnished one room 325 sq ft efficiency/duplex that originally served as sheepherder’s lodging at the turn of the last century. Now it has a well equipped kitchen and full bathroom with a bath/shower. There is a queen bed, armoire and wood-fire stove.
Hear the rooster crow. and howl of coyotes when the weather changes. Fresh ranch eggs from the ranch hens still abound. Take your dinner and bottle of wine down to the barn and watch the sun set.
Nightly rates depend on the season. $10 extra pp.

“This was a beautiful place for a weekend retreat! The cabins were small but cozy, well-kept and on a beautiful farm. The location was well away from roads and noise, not too far away from Taos, and the stars were incredible at night! Eric brought us eggs on the first night there and made us feel at home – even introduced us to his sizable flock of birds! We would visit again in an instant.”
